Privacy Notice

We are collecting your information to organise and host the event and to provide access to its content to all registered participants.

The lawful basis we rely on for processing your personal data is your consent under article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR, along with the need to fulfil the event 'contract' formed between us and registered participants under Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR.

Event Registration

Registering forms a 'contract' between us and the participant to organise and host the event. As part of this contract, we will collect your personal data—specifically, your names, email, and institutional affiliation—to process your registration and fulfil our work as the conference organisers, including generating name badges and timetables. If you so choose, your name and institutional affiliation will be publicly shared on the Participant List of the conference website until the website is deleted. By submitting an abstract, you consent to your name and institutional affiliation being publicly shared on the Timetable and Abstract pages of the conference website until the website is deleted.

We will also use your contact details following the event to send you content relating to the event and to ask you for feedback. You have the right to decline to participate in future surveys and to ask us to stop contacting you.

We will not share your personal data with any other third party.

Your registration information will be retained no more than three months after the conclusion of the event.

Photography

The event may be photographed because it is our legitimate interest to do so, and images may be publicly shared on the conference website until the website is deleted. If you do not wish to be included you can object by emailing the event organisers.
