Capra Registration and Abstract Submission

Registration and abstract submission for Capra 26 can be completed here and will remain open until the 3rd of June 2023. The Meeting will be in-person, with online attendance available for those who cannot be physically present. We maintain a preference for selecting speakers who plan on attending in person; however, all applicants will be considered on a case-to-case basis. Selected speakers will be notified prior to the conference.

Funding Application

We will support a few selected early career researchers, covering all or part of their accommodation and travel expenses (expenses for visa applications are not included). Applications should include a statement of up to half a page from the applicant or supervisor motivating the request. We value applications where the home institute cofunds the expenses.

Preference will be given to PhD students from developing countries or with limited access to funding, who plan on giving a talk at Capra and are interested in participating at future Capra conferences. PhD students who do not plan to give a talk but who would like to attend and other early career researchers such as postdoctoral researchers may also be considered, depending on the number of applicants. Preference will also be given to those whose research directly relates to radiation reaction in general relativity and modelling gravitational waves.

Applications will be reviewed by members of the local organising committee and the equity, diversity and inclusion team at Capra. The deadline to apply for funding is April 3rd 2023. Please be aware that visa applications should be made well in advance. Letters of invitation for visa applications can be provided by contacting capra26@caprameeting.org. Applicants can expect to hear back two weeks after the deadline. Reimbursement of costs will be received after the conference has ended. Accommodation can also be booked through NBI upon request. The application for funding can be completed here.
